I'm Jancis. I help people find the way they want to lead.
I work with new and developing managers, and with the organisations that want them to thrive. My sessions are energising, practical and built around the people in the room.
My story
Too many good people are made managers and left to work it out alone. I decided to do something about it.
I've worked everywhere from tiny companies all the way to Apple, and went on to lead an arm of a business turning over seven figures.
Along the way, I kept seeing the same thing: good people struggling, when they should have been doing their best work. So I joined Seventh-Wave®, a leadership training company set up to fix exactly that, where I'm now Head of Training and a Senior Accredited Facilitator.
Now I do it my own way. Follow Your Arrow brings together everything I've learned, from the smallest start-ups to one of the biggest companies in the world, with my own experience and my own style.
What I believe
Three things I'd defend in any boardroom.
Leadership can be learned.
Nobody is born knowing how to run a one-to-one or have a difficult conversation. These are skills, and skills can be taught.
You don't have to become someone else.
The best leaders lead as themselves. My job is to help you find your way, not hand you mine.
Practice beats hype.
Real change comes from steady practice and honest reflection, not a motivational high that fades by Friday.
